Find us hidden in a magical red brick alley way situated between the shoe shops 'tReds and Deichmans' opposite our beautiful Cathedral. . We are also reachable from The Leats and lucky enough to be amongst the popular shopping area of Nalders Court where you can find the beautiful Truro Original Arts Shop, the very tasty B Juicy Bar and the exquisite Art of Wine bar. and if you really need it, we are also near the Leats Public Loos!
So, now you know where we are, you can track us down from pretty much any side of Truro, you can cut through from River Street, Castle Street, King Street or Nalders Court. We can't wait to see you! :) xx
Founder of Sixteen Fifty Two
We are fast approaching our first Anniversary of the opening of Sixteen Fifty Two. As we reach our first Birthday, we are excited about all the new changes we are making for our next year of business... Watch this space! :))
I want to say a really big thank you to all of our customers for their continued support since we started our adventure. Our first year has shown how lucky we are to have such loyal customers and not forgetting our fantastic team. We wouldn’t be here without you any of you. So, thank you again for the best adventure of my life and I am looking forward to the next stage ... 💕
What we have been up to over the last few weeks: As much as we loved our original look, we thought we would warm up the atmosphere and give the old building a revived original look. We brought the outside, inside! We hope you like it :)

* Cornwall's First Coffee & Donut House *
I started off with a little dream of owning a Coffee Shop in our beautiful City, but then the dream got bigger and I realised that my dream could be a reality and Sixteen Fifty Two was born. My aim was to give Truro its first locally owned modern Coffee & Donut House with a fresh and edgy feel, using locally supplied coffee and donuts. Our donuts are freshly baked every day by a local Cornish Bakers with over 80 years experience and even though our coffee is Italian it is sourced from a local Cornish company, Cornico, near Padstow. Since the day I started this adventure, I have been made aware that we are not only Truro's first Coffee & Donut House, we are also Cornwall's only Cornish owned Coffee & Donut House (well, for now anyway!) :))
So, if you haven't already been... Imagine somewhere you can read the news or a temptingly scandalous novel ( we have lots of these on our shelves for you to enjoy with our Book Sway scheme, whilst sipping your favourite Macchiato or Caramel Latte whilst experiencing donut ecstasy!
We want to give you a tantalising experience and to share the Coffee and Doughnut phenomena by bringing our beautiful cultured City some sinful Coffee and Donuts...x Thank you all, Amanda xx
